Accreditation of ISO/IEC Guide 65
JTETC is committed to fair certification activities of SEK mark textile products at all times.
In order to further improvement of the reliability of SEK mark, our certification system has been
accredited ISO / IEC Guide 65 by Japan Accreditation Board (JAB) since 2008.
ISO / IEC Guide 65（“General requirements for bodies operating product certification systems”）is
an international standard for product certification.
This guide has defined in detail the requirements to be observed in order to operate a third-party
certification system, and has required especially fairness and transparency.
The details of accreditation are as follows.
Accredited by：Japan Accreditation Board (JAB)
Accreditation Criteria：ISO/IEC Guide 65:1996 “General requirements for bodies operating product certification systems”
Accreditation Scope：Product certification for antibacterial deodorant finished textile products (SEK Blue Mark)
Accreditation No.：P0050 Accreditation Date：28th November, 2008
Only SEK Blue Mark for antibacterial finished products, which has biggest number of certification, has been accredited. Other SEK Marks are also operated as accreditation systems accordingly.
In addition, ISO / IEC Guide 65, has been revised as ISO/IEC 17065 “Conformity assessment－ Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services” in 2012. JTETC are getting ready to migrate to the certification of the revised standard
